Creating a Kahoot is fairly simple!
- Create an account by signing up for a username and password. Kahoot is completely free, and not only will you have access to all Kahoots you have created, but you can also search the public kahoots by topic.
2. Begin creating your Kahoot! For this session we will focus on the "quiz." Know you can also create a survey as well as a discussion.
3. You will start by giving it a title and description. Both of these allow others to search for your Kahoot. You can choose to make it visible to everyone, or private. A title picture can be uploaded to show up on your joining page. Lastly you can choose if you want a specific video to play when students are joining. If you do not choose one, the game automatically plays music.
4. Next you will focus on creating the questions and answers.
> Quick Tips:
-The questions can have 2-4 answer choices
-You can choose how long students have to answer:
between 5 seconds - 120 seconds.
-You can upload images to create your questions.
-You can make questions have more than one correct answer.
-You can decide if points will be awarded for each question.
(this is one of the motivating factors, so I would always award points)
